Engineering College Barmer was established by State Government of Rajasthan in the year 2018. The college was started on 21 April, 2018. College was funded by RUSA (Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan) with 26 Crore to establish the College. First session of Engineering College Barmer started from 2018 after the approval granted from AICTE and Affiliation with Bikaner Technical University, Bikaner. From it’s establishment college is continuing their efforts to touching new milestones and creating a new one.
Start from getting the first batch academic activities to make them attend the Smart India Hackathon-2019 a national level technical fest and students of the first year got second prize over there after competing with the pre-final – final year students of various IITs/NITs. We have completed three MoUs with industries like JSW Energy Ltd, Vedanta – Cairn Oil & Gas Ltd, and KAMTECH- MSME industry for the purpose of students learning and make them industry-friendly.
One MoU has been signed with Rajasthan ILD Skill University to start various skill development courses to enable society and students ready for skill-based jobs.
