Admissions are primarily conducted through the Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP). Selection is based on two routes:

  1. JEE Main Merit: Priority is given to candidates with a valid JEE Main score.

  2. Class 12th Merit: Remaining seats are filled based on the percentage in Physics, Mathematics, and one optional subject (Chemistry/Bio/Biotech) in the 10+2 board exams.

GEC Barmer offers 7 undergraduate branches. The intake is generally 30 to 60 seats per branch:

  • Civil Engineering

  • Electronics & Communication Engineering

  • Computer Science (AI and Machine Learning)

Yes, the campus includes separate hostels for boys and girls.

  • Boys Hostel: Capacity for approximately 120 students.

  • Girls Hostel: Capacity for approximately 30 students.

  • Facilities include a mess, gym, badminton court, and common rooms.

The college is equipped with:

  • Specialized Labs: Department-specific labs for Petroleum, Chemical, and Civil engineering.
