Admissions are primarily conducted through the Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP). Selection is based on two routes:
JEE Main Merit: Priority is given to candidates with a valid JEE Main score.
Class 12th Merit: Remaining seats are filled based on the percentage in Physics, Mathematics, and one optional subject (Chemistry/Bio/Biotech) in the 10+2 board exams.
GEC Barmer offers 7 undergraduate branches. The intake is generally 30 to 60 seats per branch:

Yes, the campus includes separate hostels for boys and girls.
Boys Hostel: Capacity for approximately 120 students.
Girls Hostel: Capacity for approximately 30 students.
Facilities include a mess, gym, badminton court, and common rooms.
